Every summer shortly after we hand in our final portfolio for our BA Arch course we construct a pavilion to house our final drawings and models. This pavilion had a particular theme of coppiced wood. We had various workshops to test and manipulate the birch wood, to see if it would be able to work as a structure. Luckily much of this material was donated a manager named David from a local Sussex woodland.
